Shortbread Cookies

Ingredients:
Parchment paper
1 cup butter softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cup flour
1/4 cup cornstarch
1/2 - 3/4 cup pecans or black walnuts

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 300. Line baking sheet with parchment paper. Mix butter, sugar, vanilla using electric mixer. Gradually blend flour and cornstarch and stir in nuts. Form into 1 inch balls, place on baking sheet, and flatten each cookie. Bake 25 to 30 minutes.

Nut Brownies

Ingredients:
2 - c. sugar
1 - c. flour
6 - Tbsp. boiling water
4 - eggs well beaten
4 - Tbsp. coco (heaping)
2 - tps. baking powder
1 - c. melted butter
2 - tps. vanilla
3/4 to 1 c. of black walnut

Instructions:
Grease and flour a 9x13 pan. Mix dry ingredients. Add butter, water, and mix well. Add eggs mix thoroughly. Add vanilla and nuts. Bake at 325 for 25 to 35 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
